Francisco Guerra demostrating how their product works. A new promotional technology has been developed that makes helium-filled, foam-bubble figures he calls “Flogos.” The floating shapes, be they corporate logos or other forms, are up to four feet across and, when released, rise lazily skyward until they pop.

Francisco Guerra, president of the Alabama based company, SnowMasters Special Effects Inc envisions a world of possibilities in the promotional world for their invention.

The floating logos or “flogos” are made of water plus a naturally derived but proprietary soap-like substance combined with air and helium. They last between twenty and thirty minutes, but can be tweak depending on the client needs. Humidity, barometric pressure and wind also can have a lot to do with how long the logos last or how high they go

At the present time many theme parks like Walt Disney World and Universal are exploring the possibilities of this new technology.

Concern has been raised how this floating symbols will affect planes and other air devices, but the FAA has declared that no apparent hazard is perceived on the promotional tactic.
